Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and grease the quiche pan. Heat a frying pan over the heat and fry the bacon cubes until crispy. Meanwhile, line the bottom and sides of the quiche pan with the dough.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and stir in the crème fraîche. Season to taste with salt and pepper and stir in 3/4 of the cheese. Next, stir ¾ of the pineapple cubes, ¾ of the spring onion rings, and ¾ of the fried bacon cubes into the batter.
Pour the batter into the quiche pan. Distribute the remaining grated Boer'n Trots Peper Trio cheese, pineapple cubes, and fried bacon cubes over the batter.
Bake the Hawaii quiche in the oven for 30 minutes, until the filling has set and the pastry is golden brown and cooked through. Garnish with the remaining spring onion rings and grated Boer'n Trots Peper Trio cheese.
Tip: quiches like this are also easy to take along on day trips. You eat them straight out of your hand. And you can eat them both warm and cold, so heating them up isn't necessary.
