Ingredients

  • 150 grams Boer'n Trots Goat Cheese Fenugreek
  • 2 (red) apples
  • 50 grams of walnuts, coarsely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Stuffed apple with goat cheese and walnuts

Preheat the oven to approximately 220 degrees Celsius. Grease the baking dish and grate the goat cheese. Core the apples and cut them in half. Place the apple halves in the baking dish, cut-side down. Spoon the goat cheese into the apple halves. Mix the butter and honey and drizzle over the goat cheese. Sprinkle with walnuts. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake the apples for about 15 minutes. Tip: Place the apples under the grill for a short time afterwards so that the goat cheese browns.
